take away: eetwinkel zwaan

Are you not exactly what people call a ‘cooking prince(ss)’? Or do have a passion for ‘great cuisine’ but lack the time? Then I hope you work at WTC as Eetwinkel Zwaan is your solution to tasteful quasi-home-made dinners.

The way it works at Zwaan is that they do the ‘m.e.p.’ as we call it in chef’s terms. M.e.p. stands for ‘mise-en-place’ indicating that the preparatory work has been done, the dish just needs to be finished.

Eetwinkel Zwaan indicates how to finish the dish, how long it takes and never exceeding the 10 minutes. For example, the Spinach Soup with Almonds needs to be heated in a microwave for 4 minutes. On a sheet you’ll receive more elaborate instructions, i.e. at what temperature, or in this case at how many Watt. In other words, the finishing of the dish is really fool-proof.

IKEA-style cooking: twist, add, turn and serve pasta at Eetwinkel Zwaan.Every week, the menu changes. There’s always a soup, salad, pasta, meat and fish dish on offer. Prices range from E5 to E18.
